Chase Mulvehill Joins Wolfe Research
Rising Star Oil Services Analyst to Join Preeminent Research Boutique
New York, NY — May 4, 2016 - Wolfe Research, LLC announced today that Oil Services analyst Chase Mulvehill has agreed to join the company as a Director. Leveraging his experience as a buy-side analyst, Chase has established himself with clients as a rapidly rising star on the sell-side.
Prior to joining Wolfe Research, Chase was a Senior Analyst at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey since 2014, covering the Oil Services sector. Before making the transition back to the sell-side at SunTrust, he served as a buy-side analyst at Carlson Capital and Millennium, where he was responsible for oil service coverage along with other energy subsectors. Chase started his Wall Street career on the sell-side working for Jefferies' oil service team. Prior to his career as an equity analyst, Chase was an Aeronautical Engineer at Lockheed Martin. Chase earned a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from Auburn University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. Chase also played five years of minor league baseball for the New York Mets organization.
Wolfe Research’s Managing Partner Ed Wolfe commented, “I have interviewed many candidates in this sector; Chase immediately struck me as an analyst that would really flourish given proper mentorship and stock coverage. I have every confidence that he’ll come to be recognized as the top ranked Oil Services analyst within a few years. He shares the same qualities of our other analysts here at Wolfe who have leading mindshare with institutional investors: he is smart, driven and has a unique approach in how he analyzes the drivers of his sector and stocks within it. He also exudes an intellectual honesty and integrity that helps to define our culture and will serve our investor clients well.”
Mr. Mulvehill noted: “I am excited to join Wolfe Research, given its incredible reputation for outstanding, differentiated research. I am particularly thrilled for the opportunity to work alongside so many top quality analysts, including Paul Sankey in Oil & Gas and Steve Fleishman in Utilities. I hope to help Wolfe continue towards its goal of becoming the number one resource for the firm’s clients who invest in the Energy sector, and I can’t wait to launch coverage at Wolfe in third quarter.”
