Title: Project Manager - Research Principal, Senior Vice President

 

Overview:

Wolfe Research is seeking a highly motivated, innovative professional to join its Project team, with an emphasis on the production and approval of equity research. This team manages a portfolio of complex infrastructure and process-driven projects via collaboration with other critical resource groups at the firm, including Compliance, Operations, Research, Sales, Trading, Accounting, and Legal. Applicants must have a proclivity for action, supported by analysis, with a keen eye for detail and proven ability to prioritize and execute on multiple projects.

 

Job Description:

Primary responsibility is to provide expert editorial, content, and regulatory review for approval of the firm’s daily research product. The expertise built through daily interaction with research product will be leveraged to benefit research-driven projects, inclusive of research production infrastructure, analytics and reporting, and optimizing the distribution of product.

The project portfolio will require a strong interest and aptitude in technology-driven projects, as well as the proven ability to budget, document, implement, and build reporting for a wide-group of stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:

Candidates must be fully licensed for the review and approval of equity research reports and market commentary, including the (1) SIE, (2) Series 7, (3) Series 63, and (4) Series 24/ 87 or Series 16. Candidates will be proficient users of Salesforce and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The ideal candidate will also have familiarity with HTML, Javascript, and/ or SQL.

Wolfe Research is seeking a full-time Accounting Assistant who is motivated to support the team and start getting great exposure to all areas of corporate accounting. You can expect to assist the Accounting department with data entry, processing, and recording transactions, reviewing expense reports, supporting AR & AP, and preparing internal reports. You should be thorough, accurate, and honest with good organizational skills.

 

To be a successful in this role, you should have an understanding of basic Accounting principles and be proficient with computers and software, such as MS Excel.  You should be trustworthy, efficient, and organized.

 

Qualifications::
 

  • Technical skills include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational/project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively to all levels of employees and vendors both verbally and in written form.

Job Description:

The sales function provides the primary client interface for both research delivery and revenue generation. Heavy outbound call volumes, frequent client meetings / presentations and travel are the norm. The sales position requires command of a complex and extensive research product line and the ability to distill the material for use by highly sophisticated institutional investors.

 

Qualifications:

Qualifications include demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication, as well as in personal presentation. Further, a clear track record of drive and high achievement in prior activities, including academics, is essential. Strong general knowledge of markets, valuation of equity securities and the institutional equity marketplace are important. Coursework should include some combination of economics and finance. At least one course in financial accounting and the ability to understand corporate financial statements are required.    Two years of successful post-college employment are the minimum, but we are open to individuals seeking their first Wall Street position. An MBA / CFA is desirable. A strong desire to become a leading client-facing and revenue generating professional is critical to success. The position requires a significant investment of time, focus and effort. The firm will provide training as appropriate. Starting compensation is based on experience and upside will be performance based.

Title: Salesforce Administrator/Developer (NYC or Stamford, CT)

Overview:

Wolfe Research is seeking a highly motivated, self-starting professional to join its Operations/ IT team. This team supports a growing mid-town New York based firm of 170+ employees. The candidate will work in the firm's IT operations group.

 

Job Description:

Responsibilities include the improvement, enhancement, and automation of internal processes through Salesforce.com and Pardot, Powershell, VBA, and/or Python scripts to aide in daily middle- and back-office tasks. This includes communication with internal and external firm technology platforms, such as the website, CRM, accounting systems, and trading vendors. And it includes integrating the firm’s various accounting and trading systems with its CRM (Salesforce.com) and external vendors.

General IT support also includes providing basic IT/telecom support by becoming part of the firm's internal help desk to the firm's employees, and liaising with the firm's outsourced IT support firm when necessary.

 

Qualifications:

The candidate should be fluent in Salesforce administration and Windows 10 / Microsoft Office 365 tasks, and should be capable with either Windows Powershell or Python to facilitate integration between different applications. The ideal candidate will also be familiar with HTML, Javascript, and SQL.
