Tim is a Senior Vice President and Senior Analyst at Wolfe Research covering the Auto & Truck Manufacturers and Suppliers. Tim launched coverage of the sector on April 8, 2010 and was voted by clients to Institutional Investor Magazine’s Rising Stars survey in 2012 in both the Auto & Auto Parts and Machinery sectors. In 2011, Tim was recognized as a Rising Star in the Auto & Auto Parts sector, and in 2010, he ranked in the 99th percentile of all U.S. equity analysts for earnings estimate accuracy by Thomson Starmine.
Prior to covering the Auto & Truck sector as a Senior Analyst, Tim specialized in the Trucking subsector as a Senior Research Associate on Ed Wolfe’s highly regarded Transportation team both at Wolfe Research and at Bear Stearns & Co. His Trucking coverage included Truckload, Less–than–Truckload, Truck Leasing and Truck Brokerage.
Before joining Bear Stearns, Tim began his career in equity research at the Prudential Equity Group, where he started in March 2002 covering the Automotive industry. In addition to three years covering auto manufacturers, suppliers and retailers, Tim also worked for a period as an Associate Economist.
Tim graduated from James Madison University with a B.B.A in Economics, a Finance minor, and a Financial Economics concentration. He resides in Connecticut with his wife, Anna, and their daughter.
