Robert D. Farley, CFA

Vice President – Institutional Services

 

Robert joined Wolfe Research as Vice President of Institutional Services, where he focuses primarily on client interactions using his in-depth expertise of the Wolfe Research product. He also continues to assist with the research product and act as the firm’s primary technology liaison with its vendors. Previous to Wolfe Research, Rob earned the title of Vice President in Equity Research, during his four years as a research associate at Bear Stearns & Co. focusing on the Trucking and Airfreight & Logistics sub-sectors.

Prior to Bear Stearns, Robert worked in industry as a Flight Test Engineer at Pratt & Whitney (United Technologies). He was responsible for the assembly, instrumentation, and testing of several commercial and military engine validation programs, interacting extensively with Boeing, Airbus, NASA, the USAF, and various aircraft suppliers to complete flight programs.

Robert graduated with high honors with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University where he also played on the Water Polo team and created an online bookstore startup. He is a CFA charterholder, and resides in Connecticut with his wife Megan.
