Chris Senyek, CFA, CPA
Managing Director, Head of Macro Research
Chris joined Wolfe Research in September 2011 as a Managing Director and Senior Analyst leading the Accounting & Tax Policy research team. In May 2013 Chris was promoted to Head of Macro research and he assumed additional roles as Chief Investment Strategist and head of quantitative research. He also continues to lead the accounting & tax policy research effort. In these combined roles, Mr. Senyek publishes views on the broader markets, sector positioning, quantitative factors/modeling, and topical accounting and tax policy research.
Since joining Wolfe Research, Chris’ analysis on topics such as earnings quality, dividend policy and capital allocation has extended well beyond the traditional scope of accounting & tax policy research and his new roles formally expands his research portfolio to include the broader categories of strategy and quantitative research. Mr. Senyek has been ranked as the #1 Accounting & Tax Policy Analyst in Institutional Investor magazine’s All—America Research Team for the past four years and he has been recognized by that poll for the past six years.
Prior to joining Wolfe Research, Chris worked three years as a Senior Managing Director and head of Accounting & Tax Policy research at ISI and seven years at Bear Stearns. Earlier, Chris worked as an auditor for Arthur Andersen in Cleveland, Ohio.
Chris is a CPA and CFA charter holder and received a BS in Accounting from the University of Akron and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He resides in Westchester county, New York with his wife Amber and their two sons.
